"Music Street Journal: What was the last CD you bought or you’ve been listening to lately.

Candice Night: It was a live CD by Sarah Brightman called Harem. We’ve always just been blown away by her and have seen her in concert. For someone who doesn’t get played on the radio, it’s great to have the audience she has, mixing opera with pop music. Her vocal range is astounding. She came to our show in Hamburg. We heard all day she might be coming. Imagine the pressure as a singer I had all day knowing that. Right before we walked on stage I said to Ritchie I think I can see her in one of the opera boxes and he was so good he said, “no she called up and cancelled.” So I could breathe! I was terrified having to sing in front of her. Sure enough afterwards, he says, “actually I lied, she is here and I was terrified all night so at least you weren’t!”
