This is the Elizabeth Siddal as Beata Beatrix. (see aove picture link) but look carefully at the two pictures - the Beata Beatrix is a lighter and softer face, where as the pic on mu site although very similar is NOT I believe the same. 2. On my website pic says National Gallery of Scotland, and the picture you are thinking of is in the Tate Gallery London heres the link:- http://www.tate.org.uk/servlet/Vi...roupid=999999961&workid=12769 Hope that clears it up, though if you know better please can you find the other picture - the on on my site - thanks. I strongly believe this a Jane Morris painting as ALW is obessed with her. |
