Message: Someone should be aware that one of the paintings purported to be Jane Morris on the main page of the website is actually a painting of Elizabeth Siddal - arguably the most famous one of her, Beata Beatrix.

There are two reasons to think that this is not the case:-
1. This is the Elizabeth Siddal as Beata Beatrix. (see aove picture link) but look carefully at the two pictures - the Beata Beatrix is a lighter and softer face, where as the pic on mu site although very similar is NOT I believe the same.
2. On my website pic says National Gallery of Scotland, and the picture you are thinking of is in the Tate Gallery London heres the link:-

Hope that clears it up, though if you know better please can you find the other picture - the on on my site - thanks.
I strongly believe this a Jane Morris painting as ALW is obessed with her.
